last year I made a beach shooting in the Caribbean, the beauty and atmosphere of beautiful models and nice clothing in a paradise is obviously so inspiring!

Dapper Kid: Agreed. This shooting is about these two elements: first, the chemistry, refreshing non-poses and and obvious happiness – what I called almost acting more than modelling. Secondly, the choice of styling and photography itself, pleasantly unusual for a beach series, and very pure all in white, far from too much sexiness. I like this side of Carine, I think she’s always had a passion with the beach, I have seen so many pictures of her and her family on the beach, it must be her holiday/break destination. Quite personal, which is surely why these pictures feel real eventually.

They really do seem to have a wonderful chemistry in front of the camera. And I love when they flip a beach editorial, by actually showing full outfits as opposed to bikinis. For some reason I always feel that it takes more creativity to make that choice, and do it well. Which obviously having be styled by Carine herself, this shoot was!!

On en redemande tous les ans.
